Jerome & Duke

About

Listen weekday mornings from 6am-10am to Your Country 95.5 WTVY Morning Show with Jerome & Duke.

Dothan born Jerome Jackson is a familiar voice in the area. He started his radio career right after graduation, working at several stations in the market over the years and currently on WTVY 95.5 where he co-hosts the popular morning show with Duke Rice. DJ by day and Elvis by night, Jerome has performed his Elvis tribute show around the wiregrass area and the country too. After pursuing a career in Nashville, Jerome decided to come full circle and do what he does best…Elvis. Specializing in the 1970’s concert Elvis, Jerome hopes his show will bring back some great memories of the “King of Rock n Roll”.

Duke is the co-host of Your Country Morning Show with Jerome Jackson. Duke comes to Dothan and the Wiregrass community via Tennessee! Here is what you need to know about Duke: he was born in Detroit, Mich, yes, he is a suffering Lions and Tigers fan. He moved to Tennessee before he started elementary school and grew up in a town called Sparta! Ask him sometime what YERT! means. Duke started in radio when his car broke down in front of the local radio station in town, as he waited for a tow truck, he applied for a job and the rest is history! He has a wife and two grown children and a couple of wiener dogs. He is a Star Wars nerd, loves collecting Star Wars stuff as well as Funko Pops. His favorite band is KISS, loves wrestling and playing Madden football. Duke thought living in Tennessee isn’t south enough, so he moved to Alabama and joined the 955 WTVY crew!
